Summer Yang
Spring rises into Summer – Yang at its greatest, a time of growth, activity, warmth, love, light and joy. This is how Traditional Five Element Acupuncture describes Summer, which relates to the Fire Element. The time of the year when light wakes us early and lasts into the evening. A season of great energy, to be outside, expanding our energy in nature. However, if your Fire energy is out of balance, you may not feel this, so time for help. Time for Seasonal Acupuncture Treatment.
Midsummer the summer solstice on June 21st gives the utmost light when we and nature can flourish, grow and mature, as we can too.
Finding Your Summer Yang
We all have the Fire Element and the energy of the Summer Yang within us, as we are all made up of the Five Elements Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood.
Though many people may not be able to find this Summer Yang feeling. You may feel lonely, not like the heat, sun, light, lack in energy, depressed, insular and getting headaches, achy bones, stressed, hay fever and more. This may be because your Elements are out of balance each element needs to support the next in a cycle of nurturing just like nature.
If energy is not gathered in late Summer the Earth element, harvested in Autumn the Metal element, rested in Winter the Water element, evolved in Spring the Wood element. This can result in not having the energy to shine in Summer. Trying to live with the seasons though difficult in the modern world is worth trying to accomplish. As each season/element feeds the next in continual motion, helping you stay healthy. This is when Traditional Fav e Element Acupuncture can help.

Helping you find your Energy
The energy that flows around your system is called Qi, this flows in meridians or channels. These are not blood, lymph, muscles, tendons though Qi flows and controls your whole system. This affects all your structure in Body, Mind and Spirit. The treatment with Traditional Five Element helps Qi flow becoming more balanced to find health and wellness. Treating each person from their Causative factor being the element that needs the most help to maintain the flow of Qi.
The Acupuncture needle
An acupuncture needle is the width of a few hairs; the needles are inserted into points on these meridians to unblock the Qi and help it find the flow to help you back to health.
Your acupuncturist will assess each treatment what the required acupuncture points are needed. Your acupuncturist each treatment takes your pulses – 6 in each wrist informing your acupuncturist the state of your Qi. She will also assess how you are physically, mentally and emotionally, to gauge how you are and what you need that day. Acupuncture treatment has a general plan though assesses your needs each treatment. This can change by the seasons too, outer and inner.

Blockages of the Qi
Blockages of the Qi can come from many reasons these can be physical, emotional, environmental, from lifestyle, abuse, operations, childbirth, toxins and much more.
Your Traditional Five Element Acupuncturist can help you find your way back to better health so you can find the enjoyment of Summer and more.
