COVID -19 Guidelines 27 January 2022 there has been relaxation of various COVID restrictions. Southwell Acupuncture Clinic will continue with the high level of care following guidelines set out by Government for close contact services and the British Acupuncture Guidelines for members.
Face Coverings
- From January 27th 2022 Face Coverings – are no longer a legal requirement.
- For close contact services – we request that continued use of face coverings at Southwell Acupuncture Clinic inline with UK Government guidelines, unless you are exempt.
- Your Acupuncturist will continue to wear a face type IIR FRSM face mask at all timers during treatment
Risk Assessments
- Southwell Acupuncture Clinic will still include COVID-19 workplace risk assessment with every patient to prevent COVID-19 spread in the clinic
- Checking with each patient before each treatment if they have had COVID or been inContact with anyone with COVID
Hand-washing
- Patients will still be asked to wash their hands when they arrive at the treatment room
- Hand sanitiser will also be available
- Your acupuncturist will wash hands before during and after treatment and more as required and use hand sanitiser as required
Cleaning and Linen
- Cleaning and disinfecting in the clinic between each patient will continue
- Clean linen on couch for each patient
- Use of disposable handtowels
Ventilation
- The building will have windows open all day in public spaces
- Between patients the windows will be open for ventilation
- Half hour gaps will continue between patients for cleaning and ventilation
