Today is Mid Summer’s Day, the Summer Solstice, the longest lightest day. We have come to the peak of Summer Energy the Fire Element season. Which is all about continuing the process of growth that the Spring the Wood Element.

Following the Seasons

Spring laid the groundwork for new upward growth and Summer Energy is all about supporting growth. The Summer is a time for plants and you to naturally flourish and bloom.

Joy and Heat

It is also a time for you to be happy, joyful and have fun with those you love and care for, as Summer Energy is very relationship focused. Though it is important to ground yourself relaxing in the sun and soaking in the heat and warmth. 

Anxiety and Overwhelm

Summer can also become a time of anxiety and the hectic energy we can get overwhelmed in the strong Yang Energy of the season. Summer is bright, active, heating, and energetic. Moments of rest, enough sleep, hydration and cooling foods like watermelon and cucumber ground us and balance the Yang Energy of the environment.
