Help is Here
We all need a bit of help sometimes, I see many patients who are overwhelmed by conditions in health and life. Traditional Five Element Acupuncture can help you feel better from many conditions and situations, with the added advantage of helping you find the strength to take care of yourself. Finding your way progressively to better health and wellbeing. Learning to care for yourself, as well as being treated.
What can Acupuncture Help?
To look at my diary over the last few weeks I have seen patients who have been dealing with grief; cancer treatments; irregular periods; illness of a close relative; back, feet, knee, shoulder, neck pains; headaches; migraines; abandonment; overwhelm; facing large changes in their life; pregnancy; miscarriages; infertility; work stress; long term/chronic illness; coping with disabilities in self and family members; vertigo; shingles; atrial fibrillation; anxiety; menopause; children stress and combinations of many of these.
Traditional Five Element Acupuncture cannot always take this situation away.Though the treatment can help each person cope with their situation and how they manage it, it also assists in finding methods that work for them. These may include practices such as meditation, improving sleep patterns, getting fresh air, exposure to natural light, living in harmony with the seasons, maintaining healthy eating and drinking habits, and fostering meaningful relationships, among many others.
Treating the Person not the Condition
This is achieved by balancing each person’s Qi – eavery person reacts to a situation in a different way. Having a deep understanding of the Five Elements and how each person responds to circumstances, leads me to give the treatment that each person needs with the needles, moxa and care. I feel very fortunate to be able to treat and help people with Traditional Five Element Acupuncture.
