Southwell Wellbeing Centre
I have moved to Southwell Wellbeing Centre on the Ropewalk! A new practice room conveniently placed in the centre of Southwell, on the ground floor and parking across the road.
I am looking forward to joining Claire Tavenor and the team of therapists who work at the Centre, some who I have known for years and those new to me.
Welcome
I look forward to welcome all my patients and future patients to my new practice.
28 Years
I have been practicing Traditional Five Element Acupuncture in Southwell for 28 years, first in Church Street then Crew Lane and now the Ropewalk.
My own experience of injuring my back Nursing brought me to train in Traditional Five Element Acupuncture and I am pleased to have helped so many people over the years and to continue going forward.
Treating hundreds of patients over the last 28 years, helping patients in many different situations, from anxiety, pains of many kinds, short term illness’s and much support with chronic diseases. Helping with conception, seeing many babies come into the world. Hormonal issues from pubity to Menopause. Surporting patients waiting for surgery and assisting with thier recovery post operatively. Treating many patients over the years as a preventative and supportive treatment to get through life’s challenges.
Training
I trained in the College Of Traditional Acupuncture UK in Leamington Spa under the teachings of JR Worsley who bought Traditional Five Element Acupuncture to the UK. I continue to learn and experience Traditional Five Element Acupuncture though training from colleagues in the Acupuncture field and the wider in the complementary medicine community. Keeping up with changes within Western medicine. I am committed to reading from my wide variety of books! Everyday I learn though working with my patients.
I previously Trained and worked as an Enrolled Nurse which has an impact on how I work and interact with patients, helping them get the help they need “Once a Nurse always a Nurse!”
