Menopause Transition
Menopause is a time of transition, the season to reinvent yourself as a woman. A woman may find herself in the Winter of life, but it can also be a new start finding Spring again.
Frustration
This all may sound delightful but if you are struggling with sleepless nights, hot flushes, anxiety, mood swings, brain fog, weight gain, low libido, and dryness in many areas – all affecting your daily life. Therefore you may feel frustrated at the definition, understandably, read on for a way forward…
Affecting your Whole System
Perimenopause and Menopause affect your whole system, many symptoms you get tend to play into another. Such as sleep may be problematic and is made worse or caused by the hot flushes, which can then make your brain fog, anxiety and daytime fatigue worse. Often these symptoms can start in your 30s with heavy periods and fatigue being a sign and frequently misdiagnosed.
Holistic and Individual
Traditional Five Element Acupuncture treats you holistically, as an individual. As we all respond to life and its challenges in different ways. When you come for treatment a traditional diagnosis is made by asking about your physical and emotional systems, lifestyle, movement, stressors, eating habits and more.
Your Acupuncturist will establish treatment for your needs, which will be assessed each treatment as well as the initial diagnosis. As we move and change as life transitions happen. Your acupuncture treatment is all about you and your life changes through Menopause and going forward.
Working Together
Acupuncture treatment can be a stand-alone treatment or alongside Western medicine treatments.
Also, your acupuncturist may offer advice about diet lifestyle, relaxation, meditation, movement, sleep, stress and more to help you enhance your transition to post-menopausal life.
