Acupuncture for 29 Years

Acupuncture for 29 Years

29 Years

This week 29 Years ago I qualified in Traditional Five Element Acupuncture and moved to Nottinghamshire to start a different life, living and working in a beautiful part of the world, discovering Southwell quite by chance.

Worthwhile Occupation

I have found over the years how worthwhile treating with Traditional Five Element Acupuncture is. Seeing my patients over and over again finding their way to good health and wellbeing again in many different ways.

I have seen patients blossom and find their way forward often in very difficult circumstances.  Traditional Five Element Acupuncture does not always take all suffering, discomfort and illness away, though it can give each person what they need to create a good life and confidence in their abilities.

Lifestyle

In my last blog, The British Acupuncture Council talked about how acupuncturists recommend lifestyle changes. I see this evolve with my patients, I do not give my patients a big list of things they need to do on their first appointment.

The beauty of Traditional Five Element Acupuncture is that it balances and empowers a person to find their way in their own time. I do guide and encourage along the way.

The Right Time

When a person first comes for treatment they are often not ready and need to get stronger and their systems more balanced, with less pain and anxiety to be able to move forward.

There are also situations in which rapid change happens and patients are ready to take on advice much sooner.

When I treat my patients with  Traditional Five Element Acupuncture I listen and learn about each person’s needs and progress at their speed.
