Am I suffering with Perimenopause or Menopause?

Menopause is when a women has not had periods for 12 months in a row. On average this is between ages of 45-51 but can be earlier and can be due to surgery (hysterectomy).

Perimenopause is when you are still having periods either regulay or disrupted. Periods may be far apart or heaver and constant at this time.

The majority of women in the western world are impacted by physical and mental health aspects during Perimenopause and Menopause. Which impact on day to day life, work, relationships and leisure time.

Some women continue to have regular periods but experience symptoms of menopause and perimenopause as early as in your 30’s.
