Fertility Acupuncture Metal Element

Fertility Acupuncture Metal Element

In the Traditional Five Element System of Acupuncture, each of the Five Elements helps with the different emotions and challenges, that affect conception, fertility, pregnancy and parenthood. We need all of the Five Elements to function each having their role in the action of life.

The Metal Element

The Metal Element is about protection. You might find yourself emotionally and physically shutting down because of disappointment , hurt, or even trauma. Like metal sheets of armour, you can protect yourself, not wanting to feel pain but this also can prevent you from feeling pleasure.

Letting Go

What is the antidote? Find ways to let go of the past. The Metal Element encompasses the Lungs and Large intestine, two organs are about taking in and letting go. If you have had a miscarriage or any loss, the Metal Element helps you Grieve.

Breath

One way to do this is to connect to your breath. Breathing calmly can help you relax and bring in new oxygen to your body. If trauma is preventing you from moving forward in your life, make sure to seek help. The Lung breath in from the Heavens giving us life, try to tap into this feeling and feel the positives returning. Traditional Five Element Acupuncture can help you rebuild your trust in yourself to heal.

Fertility challenges

Many of my patients com after struggling with infertility and enduring endless fertility treatment appointments, ovulation tracking, injections, IUIs, IVF cycles, egg retrievals, transfers, excitements and disappointments.

Fertility challenges and pregnancy loss change you. It may be hard to see in the moment, but within the muddied trauma can emerge a garden of post-traumatic growth. It is not about just bouncing back, it’s an opportunity to launch forward. These types of events may generate a deeper appreciation for life, closeness in relationships, exploration, revelation of character strengths. You as individuals and together as infertile couples may emerge from this stronger than you dreamed. Hope will be the beacon on the horizon that a healthy baby is possible, even if it’s not the way you originally imagined family-building to go. Let Traditional Five Element Acupuncture help you find your way back.

Miscarriage

Miscarriage is a unique kind of suffering that I don’t wish upon anyone. As an Acupuncturist I meet many women, unfortunately, experienced pregnancy loss. Miscarrying can affect all women differently, but for most, it feels like what can only be described as your whole world crashing down upon you. All the expectations, excitement, and hopes for the future all taken away by a few words. Traditional Five Element Acupuncture can help you heal in body and emotions and help you move forward to a brighter future.
