Acupuncture and YOUR Menopause

Menopause is the time that marks the end of your menstrual cycles. It’s diagnosed after you’ve gone 12 months without a menstrual period. Menopause can happen in your 40s or 50s, but the average age is 51, it can also come early in your 30’s.

Menopause is a natural biological process.

Though physical symptoms, such as hot flashes, and emotional symptoms of menopause may disrupt your sleep, lower your energy or affect emotional health.

A simple description too often a monumental change in a woman’s life, the hormone changes can affect every aspect of your life!

I have treated many women over the years at my acupuncture practice with every kind of problem from sleep disturbance, anxiety, pain and to the possibility that one patient’s  chronic leukaemia started around the same time of menopause, as many health issues do appear at this sensitive time.

However menopause comes out in you Traditional Five Element Acupuncture is here to help because we treat the person, not just the symptoms, every woman’s menopause is different so we treat you. To help you find your way to the other side and become the calm happy and wise woman.
