Back pain can affect you at any age and most people will suffer at least some back pain at some point in their lives. It is the UK’s leading cause of disability and one of the main reasons for work-related illness.

The majority of pain is in the lower back in the lumber sacral area, often caused by age related wear and tear on the vertebra. Though most lower back pains not caused by serious damage but from by sprains, muscle strains ,minor injuries, pinched or irritated nerves (usually sciatic).

Back pain can also occur during pregnancy with changes in the body.

Back pain can be because  of stress, anxiety or infections.

Back pain can come also from repeated actions such as manual work, lifting.

Back pain can also be related to more serious conditions such as cancer, though Traditional Five Element Acupuncture cannot take the cancer away, it can help with symptoms of the illness and side effects of treatment.
