Mothers Day – Taking Care

Mothers Day – Taking Care

Mothering Sunday is always the fourth Sunday of Lent,a Christian celebration that has now become a worldwide event where we show Mums how much we appreciate them.

Mothering Sunday marks the maternal bond that exists between a mother and child – as well as other maternal figures such as grandmothers, mothers-in-law and stepmums, a day of appreciation for all the maternal women in our lives.

This can be a day of great joy of families coming together to celebrate their Mothers and all she is to them,or it could be a time just to share a quite tea and cake with Mum. It also can be a difficult time as some Mum’s are no longer with us, or far away or families separated for many reasons.

So I send out joy, care and love to all your Mothering Sunday situations and knew you are loved. Even though sometimes children whatever age are not always good at showing it – you know you are their Mother and always will be.

Take care of yourself and those around you today.
