Acupuncture and International Women’s Day

Today is International Women’s Day

It is 200 years since some women first gained the vote; we have come a long way since then.

Though this last year has shown that we still have much work to do.

We as a society are challenging this with many campaigns #MeToo #TimesUp and today’s #pressforprogess. Let’s work together for a better future.

As women and men we need to learn to live together in the world respecting and accepting our differences.

Men and women are different, but that does not mean better or worse.

In my acupuncture practice I treat many women; as women we have many challenges, from puberty, pregnancy, parenting to menopause and beyond to the wise womwn. We need to embrace the feminity in ourselves not hide it away. Hormonal changes can drive a woman to great success, though can cause challenges too.

Traditional five element acupuncture treats the whole woman in body, mind and spirit to help each of you through the challenges of life. I treat through life; traditional five element acupuncture is a life treatment; a preventative to keep the body and soul going as life changes.

So come and have some caring treatment to look after yourself so we can be ourselves, as well care and share with others.
